46% of users already use iOS 8

Apple users are rapidly adopting the new version of their operating system, which was recently officially released to the public and has brought incredible new features to improve the user experience.

According to the report and data published by the company, in such a short time, 46% of users have updated their firmware version , and the numbers continue to grow. Unlike iOS 7, where 49% are still using this version , just five days ago the percentage of users with this version was 90%.

The numbers may change a little in the coming days, however we must remember that a percentage of these will not make the jump to iOS 8 because they are keeping their jailbreaks with iOS 7 and on the other hand 5% of Apple users are still below iOS 7 versions.

Despite being a relatively new version, almost half of the company's users are already enjoying iOS 8, thanks in part to the large number of iDevices sold in just one week, which come with this version of the platform pre-installed.

The following MixPanel chart , although unofficial, also shows the real-time trend of the percentage of users for each version of the mobile operating system, but although it is not exact, the data is very close and almost exact.
