Activate explicit songs on Apple Music

Apple Music has arrived, and with it comes a small restriction on music with strong, or rather, explicit lyrics. Here you can easily see how to bypass this restriction. This limitation is intended for Apple Music family accounts, where such music might be heard by young children and could affect the sensibilities of the adults in charge. Apple, sooner rather than later, decided not to make a fuss about this issue.

Apple Music launched a few days ago as the official music platform of the Cupertino company. With it came a small but unique feature: explicit songs.

Apple decided to launch its music service with explicit content censored by default . This means that songs deemed inappropriate by the Cupertino company due to their language will appear with a small red "E" next to the title.

Why does it come locked?

It might seem a bit far-fetched, since adults understand and can ignore these songs if they bother them, leaving Apple's service as it is. However, if you have bands with somewhat explicit lyrics, there is a way to remove this restriction.

This isn't censorship, since Apple allows you to enable these songs in the device settings , which will automatically skip while listening. It's understandable that, by offering a family pack , the account is likely shared with children.

How do I activate explicit songs?

It's really very simple.

First, go to your device settings . Once there, go to the General tab . Now, go to Restrictions and tap on Music and Podcasts . Finally, turn on the Explicit Content switch.
