Haptic feedback enhances the user experience on the latest iPhone models, and taking advantage of this feature, a new tweak jailbreak Called TapticPasscodeButtons, it brings the experience of using haptic feedback to the lock screen password, and harnesses the power of the "taptic" engine to do so.

The way that TapticPasscodeButtons It works quite simply; if you tap any of the password buttons on the lock screen, you'll feel a slight vibration from the taptic motor in your phone. You'll feel the same amount of haptic feedback when you enter your passcode—that is, one vibration for each tap of the number button.

Because the tweak relies on the Taptic engine, it only works on the iPhone 6s/6s Plus and the iPhone 7/7 Plus. That said, If you don't have one of these haptic-enabled devices, the tweak won't work..

Although previous generation iPhones have a vibration motor, it works somewhat differently from the taptic motor, therefore they are incompatible technologies.

Regarding battery consumption in taptic motor devices, most people use Touch ID regularly anyway, so it's unlikely you'll notice a significant increase in battery drain. Regardless, the taptic motor is supposed to be more energy-efficient than a vibration motor, so battery consumption should be minimal at most.

Another thing you should know is that TapticPasscodeButtons is only compatible with iOS 10, so It has been designed only for those people who have jailbroken their device with Yalu iOS 10.0-10.2 jailbreak by Luca Todesco.

If you want to try TapticPasscodeButtons, you can download it for free from Cydia's BigBoss repository. There are no settings to configure, so you can use the tweak right out of the box.
