Hello iPhone enthusiast, well this news has nothing to do with the iPhone world, but I found it very interesting since Facebook is the largest social network in existence, Anonymous, a community of hackers, has released the following document.

We wish to obtain your attention, with the intention that you know the following:

Your beloved media outlet will be destroyed. If you're a willing hacker, or just someone who wants to protect the freedom of your information, then join the cause and destroy Facebook for the sake of your own privacy.

Facebook has been selling our information to government agents, giving them clandestine access to our data. They are spying on people all over the world. Some of these companies, called White Hat Infosec, are working for authoritarian governments, like those in Egypt and Syria.

Everything you do on Facebook stays on Facebook, regardless of your privacy settings. Deleting your account is impossible; even if it's deleted, all your information remains on Facebook and can be easily recovered. Changing your privacy settings doesn't make your profile more "private"—Facebook knows more about you than your own family. http://www.physorg.com/news170614271.html

You can't hide the reality that you and the people of the internet are living in right now. Facebook is the opposite of the anti-security cause. You are not safe from them or any government. One day you will know this is true, and you will thank the internet hackers. Remember: we are not bothering or harming you, but protecting you.

The riots are underway. This isn't a battle over the future of privacy and advertising. It's a battle for choice and informed consent. People are being violated, abused, and harassed without knowing the real reason. Facebook keeps saying it gives users privacy choices, but this is a complete lie. Users are offered the illusion of hiding their details "for their own good," while Facebook makes millions off you. When a service is "free," it really means they're somehow making money off you.

Think about it and prepare for a day that will go down in history. November 5, 2011

This is our world now. We exist without nationality, without religious prejudice. We reserve the right not to be watched, not to be stalked, no longer to be used for profit. We reserve the right not to live as slaves.

We are anonymous

We are legion
We do not forgive
We do not forget
Expect us
