Hello iPhone enthusiasts, Apple has released its TV commercial for the new iPad 2 today, several days after its launch in the first North American stores. The ad is short and simple, but it uses every second to emphasize the company's philosophy with its tablet.

And it emphasizes this in the best possible way: by hitting the competition where it hurts most with a simple and sincere explanation of what the company has done with the iPad 2. Hardware specifications don't matter: what matters is that the software and user experience make the device revolutionary.

"This is what we believe. Technology alone isn't enough. Faster, thinner, lighter... those are good things. But when technology is no longer the central focus, everything is enjoyed more, even magically. And that's where you take a leap forward. That's where you come up with something like this. iPad 2."

While all the competing tablets were rushing to boast about millimeters of difference in thinness, dual-core processors, and more RAM and graphics power, the iPad 2 simply says that it works, whatever its specifications may be.
