Apple has teamed up with Sun Power to improve the environment

Apple , in its commitment to building environmentally friendly buildings, continues to partner with other companies specializing in harnessing solar energy to transform it into something highly beneficial. There's a reason Tim Cook was included in TIME magazine's Top 100 list , right?

After announcing its partnership with The Conservation Fund to protect 36 acres of forest, Apple now announces its plans to build and operate a new solar project in China, a country where it is also constructing buildings that it hopes will operate without harming the environment.

The Conservation Fund's initiative has been announced on its official website with a headline that calls for environmental awareness, stating " We want to leave the world better than we found it, " and where they mention more details about the project.

SunPower Corporation has also announced its plans with the Cupertino-based company, which will be the first of their kind in the region. These projects are currently under construction and are expected to be completed this year. According to SunPower Corporation , the new projects will produce up to 80 million kilowatt-hours per year without harming the environment.

But this isn't the first time the two companies have collaborated. They've previously undertaken similar projects in the United States, in California, North Carolina, and even Nevada.

Good for Apple and their concern for leaving a better world, but it's not just about finding ways to do less harm, but about raising awareness among current and future generations so they follow the same steps.
