Apple wants to improve iTunes searches and is looking for staff to do so.

Apple has not only started moving its design team but is also looking for staff to improve the functions of iTunes , since it is the store where users go to buy and download digital material.

The company appears to be seeking a search engineer to develop the next-generation features for the iTunes Store . These features are expected to be related to the introduction of Apple's new paid streaming service , which will be included in future versions of iOS.

But that's not all. Apple is also looking to fill five other positions for software engineers or architects. AppleInsider reports that some of these positions are for the Music Discovery Services Group, which handles key iTunes features such as recommendations, iTunes Match , and iTunes Radio.

The objectives and roles of the positions are not yet clear, but it is obviously an improved version of iTunes so that users can more easily find multimedia content , buy music and other products in the store.

Another job opening that's generating a lot of buzz is for a Senior Software Engineer who will focus on future video-based products. This suggests it could be related to the new Apple TV subscription service.
