Apple will exchange the iPad 3 for the iPad 4 for free.

The unveiling of the iPad 4 has taken us all by surprise. Apple has accustomed us to a device lifecycle of approximately one year , and this time, the new iPad, or iPad 3, has been updated after only seven months on the market.

As is customary in these types of situations, Apple has released an official statement indicating that all users who have purchased an iPad 3 within the last 30 days will be entitled to an exchange for an iPad 4 at no additional cost.

 

Apparently, the iPad 3 to be returned should be in perfect condition, and it is unknown whether the exchange will only be carried out in physical Apple Stores or if other stores will also be able to process the exchange. Therefore, if you are in this situation, we recommend going to the place where it was purchased and asking to see if you are entitled to said exchange.
