Apple says goodbye to the iPod Classic

One of the products that has most significantly changed the way we listen to music is the iPod , which was introduced in 2001 by the company's former executive, Steve Jobs , to bring music anywhere for users, something that would later be integrated into the touch technology of the iPhone and iPhone Touch.

Even so, the growth in the iPod line continued to grow, evolving from a music and video player with the ability to view album covers to an email reader, PDF reader, Microsoft Word reader, and even Google Maps reader.

In a recent interview with WSJ , Tim Cook stated that he is having problems with the availability of some parts or components to continue manufacturing the classic iPod , and that low market demand means the product will soon be discontinued.

This means that existing products will continue to be distributed, but the company will stop producing them – although it was already withdrawn from the market last April – to focus on the company's new models and new products, which are like the " all-in-one ".

The iPod Classic is capable of storing 40 songs or 25 photos.
