Apple will remove apps that resemble Flappy Bird
It seems the whole Flappy Bird frenzy will continue to generate discussion. And it's no wonder, since after the popular game's absence, many similar games have been released.
And according to the decision made by several Apple developers , they will begin blocking all applications that use the name, or that are similar in any way to the name of Flappy Bird.
Four of the top ten free clone apps on the App Store have already been removed for using the name " Flappy " in their game titles, and specifically for capitalizing on the controversy surrounding the popular game.
For our part, we believe that Apple is simply validating some of the rules and policies that each developer considers when submitting their apps to the App Store . Today, the Apple App Store has over 250.000 apps, all of which are governed by the terms and conditions that the company provides to each developer.
However, just like Apple, Google has joined this blocking campaign, so to speak, having already made a similar decision regarding " Flappy " apps within its Google Play store.
