Apple is supporting the victims of the Philippines hurricane through iTunes
Apple has just joined in expressing its solidarity with the thousands of victims in the Philippines. That's why the company launched its support for those affected today.
The program Apple is currently running allows users to contribute to the relief efforts following this devastating accident through iTunes. There, they can make donations to the American Red Cross.
The true number of victims of this tragic event is still uncertain. But according to authorities , at least 10.000 people may have died in this disaster; and according to UN officials, nearly 11 million people have been affected, many of whom have been left homeless.
If you wish to make a donation , simply log in to your iTunes account or visit Apple's website . The program is accepting donations of $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, and $200 , which will be transferred directly to the Red Cross.
