Apple is negotiating with carriers about the content for its upcoming iTV channel.

Apple's next event is scheduled for September 12th , and in recent months rumors about the possible iPhone 5 and iPad Mini have been growing. However, very little has been said about the big upcoming project: iTV . A well-known American media outlet and the United States Patent and Trademark Office have revealed how Apple is reportedly negotiating with cable providers to populate its future television service with content , and how we might be able to access it.

 

While the new iPhone and iPad mini are capturing everyone's attention, there's another project in development that we shouldn't forget, and which will very likely be released next year: Apple TV . Given that this is such a widespread and new product for the company, it's safe to assume they'll aim to amaze us by taking television to the next level. We'll surely be able to enjoy the popular iOS apps on our living room screen, as well as a control system where Siri will likely play a significant role. On the other hand, television must never lose sight of its true purpose: to easily deliver high-quality multimedia content , and in Cupertino, they're working to ensure that it does.
