Apple has reportedly acquired Beats

As reported by various news sources, Apple may have bought Beats Electronics for more than US$3,000 billion.

This news has not yet been denied by either company, and as a result, international media outlets are reportedly confirming the purchase.

On the other hand, Apple analyst James McQuivry indicates that the deal has not yet been finalized due to Apple's ambition. However, the acquisition is considered more than likely after the announcement that: " Apple needs to change the world not only because of its ideology, but also because its sales are falling considerably."

However, here lies one of the most important premises, and perhaps the one many of us are questioning, and that is: Why acquire Beats? Or what additional benefit would it bring to Apple , apart from increasing the company's sales?

In this context, MacQuivey points out that Beats could be part of a health and fitness monitor , specifically created by Apple. This monitoring would be carried out through an audio device, which, if it comes to fruition, would compete directly with Google's flagship product, the innovative "Google Glass."

There is also speculation that Apple might want to acquire Beats to improve its own iTunes service, a service that so far has not presented any changes or modifications that would impress the US market, much less the global market.

Another alternative to both of these deductions leads us to suppose that this alliance could lead to the creation of "Smart Headphones." And, briefly digressing from this idea, let's remember that Apple has been criticized for some time now for manufacturing headphones of rather low quality.

Many users are even comparing it to those headphones that break down within a month of purchase. Apple's new EarPods, released in 2012, also faced similar criticism.

These are just some of the reasons why Apple might want to acquire Beats, in order to design or present us with a more innovative and modern alternative to its much-criticized headphones. And what better way to make this a reality than with the support and intelligent features that Beats has accustomed us to?
