Apple releases the fifth batch of betas for its main operating systems, with some changes in iOS 10

Today, Apple released the fifth batch of betas for its major operating systems, including iOS 10 and macOS Sierra , for both developers and beta testers. This new wave of updates comes a week after the fourth batch of betas was released and approximately two months after the initial unveiling of the new operating systems at WWDC 2016.

This time, we'll be focusing on the fifth beta of iOS 10, as it brings significant updates. This update is available as a direct download for those who have installed previous betas or through the beta configuration profile. It's also available as a direct download via Apple's Developer Center.

iOS 10 comes with a wide range of new features and design tweaks, including a new lock screen experience with 3D Touch notifications, a redesigned control center, the addition of widgets, and much more.

The Cupertino company has incorporated new features into this new iOS 10 update, which is now available to beta testers.

Photos: Apple plans to reprocess facial recognition data in beta 5, so all named, marked as favorites, and merged facial data will be reset.

Lock sound: There's now a new sound when you lock your iPhone. It sounds like a door closing.

Control Center: The control center icons in the music panel have been slightly tweaked.

Settings: The "Home" section in the settings app has been removed on the iPhone, as it served no purpose, but it is still available on the iPad.

Widgets: The new widgets panel is accessible by swiping right, and now displays the date on all devices.
