Apple Releases OS X 10.8.5 12F36 Beta to Developers

Apple has just launched a new version of the upcoming OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5 , available until today only to developers , so that they can carry out the relevant tests to ensure its full functionality.

The current build number is 12F36 . The previous build was 12F33 , and its intermediate update to build 12F35 began a month ago. It was generally hoped that version 10.8.5 build 12F35 , released last week only to some company employees and partners, would address some of the bugs present in the previous version.

But it seems Apple wants to add superior improvements to its intermediate version , which is why today the ninth beta of OS X 10.8.5 Mountain Lion was launched , this time with build 12F36 accompanying this version , and aimed only at developers.

Build 12F36 asks developers to test PDF document display and accessibility, as well as mobile device management and standard graphics, in addition to Wi-Fi.

A new version of Safari, 6.1 , is also available for developers . As is Apple's OS X 10.8.5 beta, which is being tested alongside the next version of the operating system, OS X Mavericks. Apple has so far released seven developer previews of Mavericks, and plans to release the new operating system to the public are still expected this fall.

For now, just like previous beta versions , these updates can be easily downloaded through Apple's developer page or through the Mac App Store's software update tools.
