Apple releases macOS Mojave 10.14.2 Beta 2 [Download]

Apple today released the second beta of an upcoming update, macOS Mojave 10.14.2, for developers. This version, build number 18C38b, is for pre-release testing.

As with iOS 12.1.1, macOS 10.14.2 requires that publicly trusted Transport Layer Security (TLS) server authentication certificates, issued after October 15, 2018, comply with the certificate transparency policy to be evaluated as trusted on Apple platforms.

As new macOS versions become available, developers will receive a notification. And they will be able to install them from the dashboard. Software updates > in System preferences.

We don't yet know what improvements the second macOS Mojave update will bring, but it will likely include bug fixes and performance enhancements. For issues that weren't resolved in the macOS 10.14.1 update, see [link to macOS 10.14.1 update].

No new features were discovered in the first beta version of 10.14.2, but we will update this post if anything new is found in the second beta version.
