Apple releases OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 with improvements to photos and more

After Apple announced the arrival of its new iOS 8.4.1 , the arrival of OS X 10.10.5 was inevitable. Like the previous betas, it comes with improvements to Mail and Photos.

The OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 update is now available through the Mac App Store . In addition to new features, it also includes improvements to Mac stability, compatibility, and security.

And some of the new features seen in OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 are:

• Improvements regarding compatibility with some email servers.
• A problem with the photo application, which prevented the import of videos from GoPro cameras.
• A problem with QuickTime Player, which prevented the playback of Windows Media files.
