Apple releases OS X Yosemite Preview 5

Apple has released a new update for OS X Yosemite Preview 5 for its developers in order to continue with improvements and fixes for new bugs that the operating system presents.

It should be noted that in this version of OS X Yosemite 5 , the solutions to detected problems focus on improving some applications and the user interface.

The update is recommended for all developers, and can be downloaded via Software Update.

What's New in OS X Yosemite Preview 5

Something notable in this version, besides the performance and interface improvements, is that OS X Yosemite has changed the visual appearance of its operating system, with visible changes in the icons while they are running.

In addition to what's already been mentioned, we've also found two major new features. One of them is the redesigned, more minimalist app download bar in this new version.

The other improvement pertains to a change that Apple has notified its developers about. This change will affect the validation of signed applications within the upcoming OS X Mavericks 10.9.5.

This means that all applications will need to be re-signed by Apple, and any that haven't been will not be allowed through this new Apple firewall.

It's important to note that applications downloaded from the Mac App Store, and some that can also be installed from the respective developers' websites, often use a digital signature. This signature validates the programs' origin as a known and reliable source.

And that when this new and upcoming version of OS X Yosemite is released, these apps cannot be marked as reliable if they do not have Apple-signed application validation.
