Apple releases iCloud Control Panel 3.1 for Windows
Apple has released iCloud Control Panel 3.1 for Windows. This version includes integrated support for Windows 8.1.
Once installed on your computer, iCloud will keep your email, contacts, and calendars up to date across your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac, and Windows PC , allowing you to share calendars and to-do lists.
iCloud also keeps your Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Google Chrome bookmarks on Windows in sync with your Safari favorites on your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Mac.
In addition to important iCloud features , they will allow your Stream photos or shots taken with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch to be automatically downloaded to your PC.
You can also share photos and videos with people you choose, and invite friends to add their own photos, videos, and comments via iCloud Photo Sharing.
What's new in version 3.1:
- Support for Windows 8.1.
- The iCloud Control Panel signature is automatically added to Outlook.

System Requirements
- Microsoft Windows 7 or 8.
- Microsoft Outlook 2007 or later, or an updated browser (for mail, contacts, calendars).
- Internet Explorer 9 or higher. Firefox 22 or later. Google Chrome 28 or later (for bookmarks).
- Broadband Internet access.
Note:
- If you are upgrading from iCloud Control Panel 1.1 or earlier, you will need to sign out of iCloud Control Panel and uninstall it before downloading iCloud Control Panel 3.1.
- To create an iCloud account you need an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch with iOS 5 or later, or a Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later.
- Microsoft Outlook 2007 or later, or an updated browser, is required to access email, contacts, and calendars.
- This extension is required for syncing iCloud Bookmarks with Firefox or Google Chrome.
