Apple Music could be the name of the streaming service that will adopt Ping's features
Why beat around the bush when naming a new music service ? That's surely what Apple thought, so the most direct and easy way to name their streaming service , which is starting to cause so much commotion and displeasure among the competition, is simply to call it " Apple Music ".
According to 9to5Mac, this interesting service, which will try to take a large part of the market away from services like Spotify, could bring a social integration for artists in the style of Ping.
Do you remember Ping?
To refresh your memory, it was that service or social network that failed and shut down in 2012, and which had been integrated into iTunes . Now it seems that Apple may revive the idea so that artists can be closer to their fans through Apple Music.

But this Apple service won't allow users to have their own profiles; instead, it will simply allow access to artist profiles to see updates and new releases. Sources believe that artists participating in Apple Music will also be able to promote content from other industry colleagues , if they so choose.
It is also indicated that the service will be fully integrated into iOS 8.4, where users will have the option to migrate all Beats Music content to this Apple music service.
The release date for this service is still unofficially set for June, where it will be announced at the next keynote . According to rumors, we will be able to enjoy a trial period to decide if switching services would be worthwhile.
