Apple appears to be automating the production of a battery for the iPhone

We've just learned that Apple is planning to produce a new line of batteries for its iPhone . Apparently, the company plans to begin automated production of these batteries starting this year.

It is known that Apple is not only planning to manufacture batteries for its future iPhones, but is also developing this line of batteries for its upcoming Mac Pro and iMac.

As we understand it, one of the main reasons the company opted for this solution was to reduce its labor demands for 2014. Manufacturing this battery only required the materials and final assembly, thus eliminating the need for the company's currently costly labor.

We know that with the increase in minimum wages in China, the shortage of labor, high turnover rates and the fact that many young workers are unwilling to work in the manufacturing industry , these are becoming more common problems within the industry, which is leading to increased labor costs.

However, despite all these issues, we believe that automated production lines are one of the best options Apple will have to move manufacturing to where it best suits them.
