Apple patents the design and bands of the Apple Watch

When it comes to innovation and design, there's no doubt that Apple knows how to do it very well. They always stand out for presenting unique and innovative models, as well as offering customers a better experience when interacting with their devices.

Today it was announced that Apple was granted three patents , including the Sport Band, Classic Buckle, and Link Bracelet. These are now owned by Apple , and any other manufacturer wishing to use a similar or exact design of these straps must first obtain Apple's authorization.

The patent designs cover a link bracelet model with a magnetic clasp and a spring-loaded butterfly clasp. This bracelet is made of stainless steel and features meticulously crafted components.

Regarding the fitness tracker: It is suspected that Apple did not consult with certified dermatologists to verify that the tracker does not cause skin reactions in some users. Although the tracker was initially sold separately to provide a fit that would reduce the frequency of skin reactions.

The classic buckle, only available for the 38mm watch and patented with those dimensions, like Milanese loops, the classic buckle is the same as that of a common steel watch that with a pull you can open the watch to take it off your wrist.

The link bracelet uses a classic mechanism that makes the watch adaptable and for now comes in S/M and M/L medium strap sizes.

The three patents were processed by Vice President of Design Jony Ive and Marc Newson as designer, as well as Apple employees Jody Akana, Duncan Robert Kerr, Christopher Stringer and others as the original creators.
