Jay Blahnik is currently one of the senior directors of Health and Technology, leading the development of Health and Fitness features for iOS 8 and the Apple Watch . However, Blahnik has also worked as a fitness instructor, trainer, and educator specializing in health and physical performance.

His extensive experience has also led him to work for Nike for nearly 18 years , notably through the joint development of the renowned Nike+ Running device.

Blahnik also authored the book "Full-Body Flexibility (2004)." Through this manual, he provides techniques and strategies for maintaining flexibility as part of a healthy exercise routine.

Having briefly highlighted Jay Blahnik's long and distinguished career, Apple today announced a major tour that the company, along with Blahnik, will undertake in the Asia-Pacific region, accompanied by trainers, nutritionists, and health experts.

These sessions will take place at select Apple Stores in Australia, China, and Japan. Attendees will be able to ask any questions they may have live to personal trainers and icons of this important industry.

One of Apple 's main goals is to encourage people to lead a healthy life. And more than just giving advice, the aim is for people to adapt these recommendations to their own lifestyles, achieving a healthy body and mind.

And as Blahnik and writer Nobuyuki Hayashi point out, this is exactly what the Apple Watch, along with its heart sensors and Health apps, seeks for the benefit of the millions of users who own a smartwatch.
