Apple is preparing for mass production of the iPhone 6
That's right, just as the title of this article announces. The Cupertino company is apparently already providing detailed information about the production of its iPhone 6 for this year.
That's why Apple has planned to ask its suppliers to manufacture no less than 70 million units of the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 by the end of this year. This information was revealed today by the Wall Street Journal in an article on its website.
The iPhone 6 and its large production
After the company went through difficulties with the production of its new devices , today, according to this information released, it seems that this has taken a back seat.
It is admirable that the company, before having public acceptance of its new iPhone, is risking ordering millions of these units; as it indicates, 70 to 80 million devices would be ordered before the end of this year.
It is clear that the requested quantity includes both versions that Apple is said to be launching; however, let's remember that last year, Apple only risked between 50 and 60 million versions before officially launching its highly anticipated iPhone 5S and 5C .
This only tells us one thing, and I think many will agree: Apple is certain that the new iPhone 6 versions will be well-received by users. On the other hand, this has led me to think about and ask myself two questions: First , how amazing are these new devices going to be that the company is willing to ask for a considerable amount before even announcing them? And second, what features are we overlooking about the new iPhones that Apple is so confidently promoting, certain they will please all users?
I'm sure many will agree with me and will also ask themselves similar questions. However, moving on to another point of analysis regarding this new iPhone, I should mention that another important detail revealed by the renowned American magazine "The Wall Street Journal" is that the highly anticipated iPhone 6 will feature a durable metal casing. In our opinion, this casing will resemble that of the iPhone 5S.
Another new development we'll mention today concerns the iPhone 6 , and we want to emphasize that some previously unknown specifications are now coming to light. It seems the iPhone 6 will be available in several different colors, but it's unclear which of the two versions of the new devices will have this feature.
On the other hand, and despite having emphasized this repeatedly, many of us find ourselves facing a great paradox and question: which of the two versions will Apple ultimately equip with the renowned sapphire crystal displays? Or, now that they are considering points that many of us have been overlooking, will both phones have this feature?
This is a question that remains unanswered, and despite our attempts to find logical conclusions to resolve this major dilemma, we still feel that some pieces, or in this case information, are missing. What alternatives has Apple considered for producing this scarce material for its devices?
However, to conclude this brief comparison with the iPhone 6, it's worth noting that although sapphire crystal was used in a smaller quantity in the iPhone 5S, specifically in the fingerprint sensor, the company managed to overcome the initial manufacturing issues that arose when these phones quickly sold out upon release.
And considering the unexpected setbacks Apple has faced in the past, the necessary measures have been taken to prepare for these future eventualities. This includes requiring the company's manufacturers to be ready to produce 120 million iPhones by the end of the year.
Thus, despite the many successes and failures we've experienced with Apple's new iPhones, we hope to have given you a little more insight into the arrival of this new device , which is expected to be officially released in September.
