Apple will release its fiscal report for the last quarter of 2014.
Another major event has been officially announced on Apple's website : the release of the fiscal report for the last quarter of the year, scheduled for October 20th, where we will see the results and impact of the new iPhone 6.
As the last fiscal year draws to a close, Apple has managed to surpass two major milestones since its latest iPhone launch. First, pre-orders for the two new models in the iPhone series were a complete frenzy, with thousands of users flocking to Apple stores in every city. The company even had to open new stores in some cities, such as Atlanta , and outside the United States.
After achieving 4 million iDevice orders in just 24 hours through its official website, retailers, and wireless service providers like Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint , and others, the success of the new phones was evident. A week later, further contributing to the revenue for the last fiscal quarter, the company sold 10 million devices , exceeding company expectations and surpassing previous sales records.
Despite recent user complaints regarding the " flexibility " of the larger iPhone 6 Plus , demand for the latest iPhone models continues to grow, and a second wave of countries is now expected to receive the new devices.
Thus, last July Apple reported the state of its finances in the third fiscal quarter of the year where it recorded revenues of $37,4 billion and a quarterly net profit of $7700 billion, or $1,28 per diluted share.
It is now expected that these previous data and reports will be far surpassed , and even more so for the first report of 2015.
