Apple is in full production of the Retina displays for the new iPad Mini

The new iPad Mini is expected to have a 7,9-inch screen with a resolution similar to the current iPad 4 , which has a 9,7-inch screen. The only difference is that this screen is smaller, and the big expectation is that the pixel density will increase in the next generation of the iPad Mini, which is rumored to have a Retina display with 324 pixels per inch and a resolution of 2048 x 1536. Generally, the higher the pixel density , the sharper the image.

That would be roughly the same or higher pixel density as the Nexus 7 , which has 323 pixels per inch. If all the rumors about Apple 's new devices hold true , this would surpass one of the most talked-about tablets to date.
