AptBackup makes a backup of your Cydia applications and sources

aptbackupHi ! iPhone! As we all know, when we restore or update our iPod/iPhone, we have to jailbreak it again with the following installation of applications and sources from Cydia.

And now, thanks to this application, we can have our Cydia applications and sources with a single "click", through a backup and subsequent restoration of the same.

Requirements:

1. iPod/iPhone with jailbreak

2. AptBackup installed from Cydia

3. iTunes

Steps:

1.Install AptBackup from Cydia; you can easily find it by typing it into the search bar:

2. Open the application and press backup.

3.Once the backup is complete, go to iTunes and create a backup copy. This is done by connecting the iPod/iPhone, opening iTunes, right-clicking on the device icon, and selecting "Back Up."

Please note that this step is very important, as the backup data is saved in the iTunes copy that we will restore later.

And that's it! With these three simple steps, we have a backup of all our apps and sources installed from Cydia. Remember that it will save everything we have up to the moment we made the backup. I personally do it every two days or when I install something very important.

Once this is done, we will restore.

Steps:

1.Hjailbreak it. "Since we lose it when we restore."

2.IReinstall AptBackup.

3.RRestore the iTunes backup (NOTE: THE ITUNES BACKUP). Connect your iPhone/iPod, open iTunes, right-click on the device icon, and this time select "Restore Backup." Install the latest version.

4. Check that you have an internet connection on your iPod/iPhone, and that auto-lock is disabled, because if it locks, the connection will drop and the restore process won't work.

5. AOpen the application, and press restore.

end.

The process takes time depending on the number of applications to be restored, so be patient; once finished, everything will be as it was when we made the backup.

The only problem we might encounter is that on the day of the restoration, one of the source servers might be down and prevent the applications from that source from being installed, but otherwise it's a very good tool.

I hope you find it useful, best regards.
