Change the lock time values on your iPhone & iPod Touch
Hello iPhone users, I don't know who came up with those automatic screen lock settings for the iPhone. Why would anyone want their iPhone to take a whole minute before going to sleep? Luckily, little by little, we can fix the things and shortcomings we don't like about our devices. In this case, the solution is quite simple: here's a file that will set the automatic screen lock settings as you see in the image.
Requirements :
- Get a jailbroken iPhone/iPod Touch, if you don't know how: https://iphoneate.com/jailbreak-para-firmware-3-1-iphone-ipod-touch/
- Having Winscp: https://iphoneate.com/video-tutorialcomo-utilizar-winscp-ipodiphone/
- and/or iFunbox, if you don't know how: https://iphoneate.com/iusb-tunnel-openssh-sin-wifi/
Download the following file:
- http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RSIE3AMS
Access the iPhone via SSH (or however you prefer) and place the file (located in the folder with your preferred language) in the following path:
- /Private/Var/Stash/Applications/Preferences.app
Overwrite when prompted (it wouldn't hurt to save the original file as a backup)
Once the file has been replaced, go to Settings/General/Auto-lock and you will notice the change as shown in the image above.
