Nearly 5 million iPhone 6 units pre-ordered in China [updated]

Although iPhones are made in China , they will not reach the public in this country until after the 10th of this month, even though phone companies have already taken the initial step to get users to start reserving their devices.

It has been officially announced that in 5 days users in China will be able to start placing orders for the iPhone 6 , which was unveiled at the beginning of last month and managed to sell 10 million phones in just one week ; however, orders have already begun.

With 2 million iPhones pre-ordered in China in just 6 hours after carriers gave users the " green light ," the latest report indicates that more than 4 million orders have been registered to date, even though the new members of the iPhone family will not go on sale until October 17 in this country.

At this rate, the figures could surpass the pre-sales made in the United States a couple of weeks ago, even though China has been one of the last countries to welcome one of the most popular and anticipated iPhone models.
