How to copy and paste on your iPhone & iPod Touch

One of the most criticized shortcomings of the iPhone and iPod Touch is that you can't copy or paste anything, neither text nor images, and according to what can be seen in the documentation of the new SDK they have not included that feature, but very clever users have devised a way to do it.
