We're sure many of you are eagerly awaiting the official release of Apple 's new operating system for the Apple Watch . However, today we're bringing you a step-by-step guide on how to install the first beta of watchOS 2 and try out all the new features on your smartwatch.

This week Apple unveiled the new software for the Apple Watch , and a few days ago the first beta was released to developers. But that wasn't the only update Apple released through the Developer Center, as we also saw the arrival of iOS 9, OS X El Capitan, and watchOS 2.

And although the company has indicated that the official release of all operating systems to users will take place on June 30th, today we'll give you a step-by-step guide on how to install the first beta of watchOS 2 on your Apple Watch :

Note: First of all, we must warn you that once you update to the new version on your Apple Watch , you will not be able to revert to the previous system version. While on the iPhone you could downgrade from iOS 9 to iOS 8.3 , this will not work the same way with watchOS 2 Beta 1.

On the other hand, it's important to note that Apple users need a developer account to install the new operating system update. This is because the first requirement is the iPhone's UDID , not the Apple Watch's . For those who don't know, the UDID is the unique identifier for your iPhone, ensuring that the application being sent can only be used on that specific iPhone.

But if you unfortunately don't have a developer account, you can register your device as a developer through this website for just $8.

Continuing with the installation of the first beta of watchOS 2 , here we begin the step-by-step guide on how to do it:

Install watchOS 2 on your Apple Watch:

  2. Next, download and install iOS 9 Beta 1 on your iPhone. You can do this through the Install iOS 9 for free on iPhone and iPad.
