Set up iPhone with Movilnet in Venezuela

Hello iPhone users, as you all know, in Venezuela the iPhone is distributed exclusively by Movistar. Below I will show you how to configure your unlocked iPhone so that the Internet works and you can send multimedia messages (MMS).










Important note: Please, iPhone user, read the tutorial carefully, from requirements to the end.

For it to work for you! There is a possibility that it will not work on some iPhone 2G models.

Requirements :

First step:

  • Walk into SETTINGS, then in MANAGER, Then in NET and finally in MOBILE DATA NETWORK

Second step: Mobile Data

To be able to browse, you must enter the following information:

Mobile Data:

  • Access point name: int.movilnet.com.ve
  • We left the username and password fields blank.

Third step: Multimedia Messaging (MMS):

  • Access point name:mm.movilnet.com.ve
  • MMSC: http://mms2.movilnet.com.ve/servlets/mms
  • MMS proxy:192.168.16.12:8080

We left the other boxes blank.

Fourth step: Restart your iPhone and you should be able to enjoy your data plan and multimedia messages.

Note: Remember that you must have a data plan or internet connection.
