Court rules that Apple did not infringe Samsung's patents

Samsung has lost a case against Apple , despite its own arguments. A Seoul court ruled in favor of Apple, stating that the company had not infringed on Samsung's patents.

As was reported some time ago, Samsung launched a lawsuit against Apple , hoping to halt the sale of certain iPhone and iPad models in South Korea . The company alleged that Apple infringed on three patents related to messaging technology used in its mobile devices.

Where it was directly determined, according to what was stated, that the iPhone 4S y the iPhone 5They were accused of infringing two out of every three patents. This is why, after an exhaustive investigation by the Seoul Central CourtHe rejected all the allegations made by Samsung, including the request for payment for damages 100 million won (US$95.092) imposed on Apple.

Finally, within this process, it was determined that two of the patents should be declared invalid because they could be easily developed using existing technologies.

In response, Samsung issued a public statement saying, "We are disappointed by the court's decision ." The company added, "We will continue to take the necessary steps to protect our intellectual property rights."
