Unlock your iPhone with gestures using Genie
Genie is a new tweak available on Cydia that lets you unlock your iOS device in a thousand ways . Genie's interface is quite interesting, allowing you to unlock your device in these ways:
- Swiping your finger to the right or left
- Sliding two fingers to the left or right
- Swiping three fingers to the right or left
- By tapping the screen 2 times
- By tapping the screen 3 times
- Swiping a finger up or down
- And other combinations following the pattern above
We can choose between unlocking our phone using this method and then the normal security system , or locking it using the normal system and only this pattern. Additionally, there's a second form, found in the Genie settings panel, that allows us to add another password if we decide to block this option.
How to download and use Genie
Genie is available on the Cydia Store for $0.99 (PayPal accepted). Once purchased and installed in Cydia, you can access the settings panel by scrolling down to Settings . There you'll find the "Genie" tab with these options:
All options would be in English and for now there are no plans to release an update that translates Genie into Spanish, so for the time being we will have to make do with this interface.
