The Gold Master version of OS X Mountain Lion is now available.

Apple has already made the Gold Master version of the operating system available to the most eager users, ahead of its official release later this month. OS X Mountain Lion is for those who can't wait any longer.

July won't end without you finally being able to get your hands on the latest update to Apple's OS, which will go on sale for $20.

The preview update arrives about two weeks after the previous one, DP4, following Apple's usual schedule of releases every two weeks for developers. The final version of OS X Mountain Lion will be distributed, as a reminder, solely through the Mac App Store, even foregoing the option to purchase it on a USB drive.
