Answer for iPad mini: "Dead"

I was looking around and realized that when you jailbreak your device, it automatically installs an "application" so your iDevice can charge with chargers from other brands (mine isn't an Apple charger). So, do you think that when you restored it, this was deleted and it no longer charges with my charger, and that's why it won't turn on?
