Apple's iTunes Festival is coming to the United States for SXSW

Apple has just announced that its first iTunes Festival will be held soon in the US, featuring an incredible lineup of musical artists, running from March 11th to 15th.

This is the first time Apple will hold a musical event like this in the United States , with the Moody Theatre as its main live stage .

The highly anticipated iTunes SXSW Festival will feature performances by major artists such as Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Pitbull, Keith Urban, Zedd, and many more. This event is none other than the major annual showcase of new technologies, music, and film in Austin, Texas, during South by Southwest (SXSW).

All five nights of the iTunes Festival will be available to enjoy for free via a stunning live HD stream within the iTunes Store on your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac, or PC . Furthermore, the official festival app will be announced in the coming days.

On the other hand, Eddy Cue, Apple's current Vice President of Internet Software and Services, stated that: "They are currently excited about the incredible lineup of artists and the realization of SXSW, which will also serve as the perfect stage and venue to debut this Grand First iTunes Festival in the US ." However, this type of festival wouldn't be the first the company has organized, given that similar festivals, also known as " The iTunes Festival ," have been taking place in London , becoming an incredible way for Apple to share its love of music with millions of customers in the European city.

SXSW will take place between March 7 and 16 in Texas, and the participation of more than 1.200 bands is already scheduled.
