The iPhone 6 is expected to launch on September 20th, along with the new iOS 7.

Hello iPhoneat readers! We have some exciting news: the iPhone 5S and/or a budget-friendly model are also expected to be announced. The company is anticipated to begin a series of major releases starting in the last quarter of 2013 and the beginning of 2014.

 

While developers are testing iOS 7 Beta 2, the official launch of Apple's mobile operating system is already confirmed for September or October. In this post, Dave Smith, technology editor for IBT, predicted that the new iPhone 6 (and/or 5S) would be announced on September 20th, which, in my opinion, feels like an eternity to many.

 Smith confirmed that iOS 6 was made available to consumers exactly 100 days after its announcement. And this time, the company led by Tim Cook would follow the same process, in a year in which it needs to increase sales due to the strong growth of Samsung and its Galaxy line, which has already caused several Apple users to switch. 

In recent days, images of alleged parts of the budget iPhone have also begun to appear on the web, though industry members are still trying to determine the model's name.

 But in addition, the iPhone 6 (or 5S, or both) is expected, which will be an upgrade to the current iPhone 5, which will be a year old in October, and which has been relegated far behind in terms of hardware compared to other proposals from Nokia (Lumia 920/925), Samsung (Galaxy S4) and HTC (One), which many do not like. 

 So far in 2013, Apple has only announced iOS 7 and the Mavericks operating system for Mac computers, although neither platform is yet available to the end consumer or the public. In terms of hardware, it unveiled an updated MacBook Air—which is already available in several markets—and announced the redesigned Mac Pro, which is expected to go on sale by the end of the year. 

The company is expected to begin a series of launches starting in the last quarter of this season and the beginning of 2014, following this readjustment period.
