The next iPhone will have a fingerprint reader; it's in iOS 7 beta 4.

A few moments ago, all the new features of this latest iOS 7 beta, available today, were released . A new folder has appeared in the system, called BiometricKitUI.axbundle, which contains several components that appear to be designed to work in conjunction with a fingerprint reader.

 

The folder's contents refer to an illustration of a user holding the phone in their right hand with their left thumb resting on the phone's home button, which would house the reader. The text, in English, reads as follows:
