Hello iPhone users, I made this video so you can understand a little more about Install0us and Appsync when installing it on any device, whether iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch, also resolving some doubts about its correct installation, for any iOS, from 3.1.2 to 4.0.x, from any source.

Requirements:

  • Have iPhone, iPad, iPod touch with firmware 3.1 or higher.
  • Have a jailbroken device, if you don't know how:
  • Download Installous and Appsync from the same source; they are available in the iPhoneate repo:

http://iphoneame.com/repo

NOTE: These programs (Installous, Appsync, and Metadataremovr) MUST ALWAYS be installed from the same source, regardless of which one you choose. It is not recommended to install them from the cydia.hackulo.us source because it installs a security lock called Hackulous Security that blocks the installation of any other related package from other sources.

Hackulous Security not only blocks the installation of these three packages from other sources, but it is also impossible to remove them unless the device is restored.

What should you keep in mind if you've already installed any of these programs from the Hackulo source?

  • You should not try to install any of these programs from other sources because you will encounter countless errors that will likely lead to a system restore.
  • Do not attempt to uninstall Hackulous Security via Cydia or SSH, as it is not possible. Even if you manually delete the files, you will no longer be able to uninstall Installous, Appsync, or anything else installed along with Hackulous Security.

What happens if you installed these programs from other sources?

  • Whether from the sinfuliphone source, the xsellize source, or the iphoneate repo, the three programs mentioned above (Installous, Appsync, and Metadataremovr) work perfectly. You lose nothing if you haven't installed them from the Hackulo source, and on the contrary, if you later want to remove them, you can do so easily and without errors since they don't contain the Hackulous Security lock.

Is there any difference between the three programs from the Hackulo source and those from other sources?

  • No, there is no difference; all the programs from the aforementioned sources work fine, just like those from Hackulo. The only difference is the Hackulous Security padlock.

Is Hackulous Security necessary on my iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch system?

  • No, this program has nothing to do with the device's functionality. It was created solely to prevent the installation of these packages from other sources and has no bearing on the operation of these three applications. On the contrary, it is a malicious file and difficult to remove once it's on the system.

Does this happen with all other programs available in the iPhoneate repo or the Sinfuliphone repo?

  • No, this problem only occurs in the three programs mentioned; the other files are independent of these and therefore do not have any conflict with other sources.

Well, iPhone users, I hope this has cleared up some doubts about the programs mentioned above, so that you don't have problems with your device in the future. Always be aware of the programs that are installed when you download something from Cydia, from any source.
