Evolution of iPhone camera quality

The original iPhone arrived on the market in 2007. It incorporated numerous technologies that were a step ahead of the competition, such as a large capacitive screen without compromising battery life. However, it wasn't until the summer of 2008 that the iPhone was released internationally as the iPhone 3G. From this model with its 2 MP camera to the 8 MP camera of the new iPhone 5, the quality has improved significantly.

 

I'm sharing some photos so you can see the difference in quality and how mobile photography has evolved in the 6 years since the iPhone was released.

Note: The first ones did not have autofocus, so the images only appeared in focus at a certain distance, something that is evident, as well as the biggest difference compared to the previous generation with the iPhone 3GS:
