Facebook launches new private chat app for iOS

The social network Facebook , under Creative Labs , has once again released an application inspired by the famous chat rooms and communities on the web, which you can customize according to your taste and, above all, use anonymously.

The new app, called " Rooms " (referring to online chat rooms), has arrived on the App Store for free under the Social Networks category . It works as simply as selecting a topic of your choice and inviting other users to join the room to discuss it.

Facebook Inc. has highlighted an interesting feature of Room that allows you to change your username whenever you want, allowing you to remain anonymous.

To use and enjoy Rooms , you need iOS 7.0 or higher, and it's even optimized for iPhones 6 and only weighs 16.5MB.

The world's most popular social network has also released other applications such as Paper , Slingshot, and Mention Apps , and is conducting marketing tests that include a direct purchase button from user profiles, possible money transactions between users, and the possibility of bringing its advertising platform to the web in the style of Google.
