Facebook Messenger gets an update with two major improvements

The new version of Facebook's messaging service is starting to look more and more like WhatsApp. In this latest version, it's noticeable how the improvements included, such as group editing and conversation forwarding, are very similar to those in WhatsApp.

Facebook Messenger is a fast, free, and reliable way to stay in touch with the people you care about most. Its instant SMS -like system allows you to have free conversations with all your Facebook contacts.

With both improvements, you can now enhance your experience with the app. It now allows you to add a name to the group chat and include a profile picture to identify each group. You can also select messages to forward to a new recipient.

What's new in version 4.0?

Groups: Now you can create groups for the people you message most often. Give them a name, and set up group photos to save them all in one place.
Forwarding: Want to send a message or photo to someone who isn't participating in the conversation? Just tap the forward option.
Improvements for better performance and greater speed within the application.
