Facebook is paying $500 to anyone who finds a security flaw!

Hello iPhone users, as you know, Facebook was threatened with a hack by the large Anonymous community. For this reason, they didn't wait long and announced that they will reward with money hackers who find security flaws in the social network and, instead of exploiting them, notify them so they can be fixed.
While it may seem surprising, this is a common practice among other large internet companies. Google and the Mozilla Foundation, for example, have been rewarding those who report vulnerabilities in their code for years, rather than exploiting them. Facebook will now begin doing so.
Thus, the social network has organized a bug bounty program for those who discover vulnerabilities. As a standard, it will pay $500 for each security issue or bug found in the code. If the flaw is serious or critical, Facebook has indicated it will pay more, although it has not specified the amount.
Facebook has launched a page where “hackers” can sign up as “testers” and contact the company to share their discoveries.
With a program like this, Facebook not only manages to fix potential bugs in its code more quickly, since more eyes will be monitoring it, but it also manages to silence many bugs, which hackers won't broadcast online before Facebook fixes them , because otherwise they won't get paid.
