Foxconn reveals iPhone 6 production

Once again, Apple is strengthening its ties with its main supplier, Foxconn . According to reports from DigiTimes, the Taiwanese multinational will be responsible for manufacturing Apple's new iPhone models.

This news was reportedly made public after a document was registered in which Apple requests the company to produce new iPhones of 4,7 inches and 5,5 inches respectively.

It's worth noting that Pegatron is also involved in the manufacturing of these new iPhones, reportedly handling 30% of the new 4,7-inch models . Foxconn, meanwhile, will supply 70% of the 4.7-inch iPhone shipments , but not until 2015.

The report also specifies that Foxconn will begin supplying the 4,7-inch model in July , while the 5,5-inch model is expected to begin production in August.
