Self-charging iPhone case that can also be used as a stun gun
This applies to the case of the Yellow Jacket holster, which plans to stand out from the vast multitude of holsters with a utility that no other has: to serve as an electric gun, a weapon that electrocutes.
Controversy over the high power of the case
The charge generated by the case is quite powerful: around 650kV, enough to knock anyone who comes into contact with it unconscious. And the best part is that the electric case not only serves as a form of defense against thieves, assailants, and criminals, but also as an extra battery for your mobile phone. It can provide up to approximately 20 additional hours of standby time on the iPhone 4 and 4S models.
There's just a small step left before it's ready.
For now, the case is still in development, with over a thousand people testing it, but its creators are now trying to raise funds to complete the project on the crowdfunding website Indiegogo. The developers need $100 USD (about €70) to continue the project, and so far only $5.000 USD (over €3) has been raised. Once they reach their funding goal, Yellow Jacket will be released in the United States by the end of the year. It is expected to arrive in Europe next summer, but would only be available sooner if it is very successful in North America.
