GPS Gaia is the application that will offer you the full functionality of a portable unit, which will be useful for those times when you are driving on the highway, off the network, or perhaps on those risky adventures, and you will always have your GPS Gaia with you.

This app provides maps from other sources such as My Topo, Cloudmade Topo, OpenStreetMap Road, Cloudmade Road, and Cloudmade Shared, giving you access to a wealth of extra data including topographic maps, secondary roads, paths, rivers, and more. GPS Gaia can get you where you want to go, no matter where you are. Enjoy the experience of a professional GPS!

Features:

Downloadable maps for times when you don't have an internet connection.
There are no extra charges – download as many maps as you like, and use Gaia on all your iPhones/iPads/iPods Touch.
View topographic and road maps. Use MyTopo maps in the US/Canada, and CloudMade topographic and road maps worldwide.
NEXRAD radar screen and TrailBehind waypoints on the map.
Record tracks, landmarks, and take photos.
Search for nearby landmarks and reports about places.
Import and export GPX files, via email or EveryTrail.com.
Customize every aspect of Gaia, including units, coordinate types, color and sound, and much more.

What's new in version 5.2?

This version increases the download limit by 10 times (probably the most requested feature), makes maps much more touch-sensitive, and has many other improvements and bug fixes listed below.

Cache and other areas are described when the download screen is displayed.
The map scales will show the appropriate measurements, regardless of latitude.
The application will now show you the clues while you view the map download screen.
Fixes the status bar when going to details or Map Layers in landscape mode.
