How to manage groups and contacts in iMessages for OS X Yosemite

iOS 8, like OS X Yosemite, has brought with it many interesting features that simplify our work and, even better, help us pair our devices with the computer, as we can do with iMessages.

With the iOS and Yosemite messaging client, it's possible to send and receive text messages directly on your computer, as well as other features we saw at Apple's last event of the year.

Thus, we can manage groups and conversations by accessing them in Yosemite in the following way, something for new users who are just starting out with Yosemite and especially with a new operating system like iOS 8 :

You need to access one of the conversations and click on the "Details" option in the upper right corner. Now you'll see options to manage the conversation , such as "Rename," adding contacts or users to the group conversation, and selecting the " Do Not Disturb " option, which disables notifications for this conversation.

Once inside the conversation, if you want to leave the group, select the last option “ Leave this Conversation ”.
