HDR Camera Enabler: Enable HDR on iPhone 3GS with iOS 4.1

Hey iPhone enthusiasts, a tweak is now available on Cydia that enables HDR on the iPhone 3GS camera, just like the iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4 on iOS 4.1. We know that not everyone has jailbroken their device yet, but it will be available for when we can, so don't worry. It's great news that we'll soon have the opportunity to enable these features, which are exclusive to 4th generation devices.

Requirements:

  • Having an iPhone 3Gs with iOS 4.1
  • Having a jailbroken device is currently only available for Mac and only for 3Gs with an old bootloader. To find out if your bootloader is eligible, you can download Forecast from Cydia. Furthermore, the jailbreak is performed using PwnageTool, which has been released unofficially and is therefore not yet stable.
  • Download HDR Camera Enabler from Cydia

It is available for free in the ModMyi source, it comes by default so you don't need to add any source.

It's a good sign that Cydia apps are being updated to versions compatible with iOS 4.1, as it indicates that jailbreaking is a reality.
