Apple releases tool to delete U2 album

Apple and the Irish band U2 have had a long-standing relationship, which is very evident in the company's official presentations and announcements. But despite having many fans and a long musical career, the arrival of a free album hasn't been for all Apple users, especially if it's added to your iTunes account's purchase history.

What seemed like a great gesture from the rock band ended up being a $100 million payment for U2's collaboration with Apple on this and other musical projects, but apparently the album's arrival was not welcome.

After numerous complaints from users, the company has released a tool for those who wish to delete the band's album " Songs of Innocence ," which they noticed appeared in their iTunes account history.

Once you remove the album from your account, you won't be able to download it for free again as a pre-order; you'll have to purchase it. For those users who haven't yet decided to listen to the album, you still have until October 13th , the date it will become a paid item on iTunes.

Once you have entered the option, simply select the " Remove album " button as shown in the image.
